ROBERT (BOB) FRENCH

1941 - 2021

Robert (Bob) French, age 80, was called to be with the Lord Jesus on December 15, 2021.

He was born in San Antonio, Texas on June 29, 1941 to James and Helen French. Bob is survived by his Wife of 54 years; Yolanda, his brother; James (Jim) H French with wife Joyce, his son; Mike with wife Cindy, daughter; Teresa, his 7 grandchildren; Kirstin with husband Lucas, Hannah, Brooke, Brady, Sterling with wife Alyssa, Grant, Emily, his great-grandson; Greyson, and several nieces and nephews. He was known as "Patas" by his grandchildren and great-grandson.

Bob left behind a legacy of hard work, service and excellence. He dedicated 44 years of hard work to Church's Chicken and paved the way for new managers across the nation. Bob's commitment to customer service and knack for business set him apart as a creative problem solver. After he retired, he began working in the private sector as a consultant. Bob was passionate about teaching the principles of business to others, and he made a difference to everyone he worked with. Bob committed much of his time in service to his church, family, and community.

Thank you to everyone who helped the French family in the final weeks of Bob's life. Whether you provided meals or came to sit and visit, your kindness is greatly appreciated. A special thanks to Amedisys Hospice Specialists, Promise Senior Solutions, and Neptune Society for your service and care.

Due to the current increase in covid cases, the only funeral service will be a private service for the family. In lieu of flowers, the family has found it appropriate to request donations to go towards the AC fund for Bob's church; House of Prayer
