Rodolfo Nunez Guerrero
January 21, 1943 - October 13, 2025
Rodolfo Nunez Guerrero, age 82, went to be with his Lord, October 13, 2025. He was born on January 21, 1943 in Mazatlan, Mexico.
Rudy served in the early years of the Vietnam War in the U.S. Army. He had several business ventures and a career with Mexicana Airlines in Monterrey Mexico and San Antonio, TX. He enjoyed music, Mexican futbol, bull fighting, his family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by most of his siblings.
He is survived by his wife, Adriana Nunez Mendez, daughters Natalia Nunez and Adriana Nunez-Gavia and her husband Gilbert Gavia; a brother and grandsons Mariano and Joaquin Gavia.
A visitation for Rudy will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 7:00 PM, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 7893 Grissom Rd, San Antonio, TX 78251. Committal service with Military Honors will follow on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
