April 8, 1930 - November 20, 2025
A native San Antonian, Rosie attended Fox Tech High School and graduated in 1948. After high school, Rosie married Raul Guerra in 1951. Together, they had two children before continuing her education. Rosie loved the Lord, her family, work, and her church.
Rosie is survived by her two children: daughter, Norma Susan Guerra, grandson Robert Aaron Saenz (Christy), her son Raul Roger Guerra (Elizabeth) and granddaughter Lauren Paver (Bill). Rosie had ten great grandchildren that she loved dearly. Rosie is also survived by her siblings Cruz Mendoza, Jr., Lillie M. Carrillo, and Yolanda M. Rivera along with numerous nieces and nephews. She leaves behind her extended family to carry on her legacy of love, God's grace, and servant leadership.
A visitation will be held at La Trinidad United Methodist Church, 300 San Fernando St, San Antonio, Texas, on December 1, 2025, beginning at 9:30 a.m., followed by the funeral service at the same location at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place afterward at San Fernando Cemetery #3.
