Sarah Rymers Galindo, Born on January 27, 1921, entered into eternal rest on August 6, 2005, after losing her battle with cancer at the age of 84. She was preceded in death by her parents Fritz and Theodora Rymers; her husband, Valentin Galindo; brothers, Sonny and Alfredo Rymers; sisters, Elisa Solis, Carolina Lopez; sister-in-law, Eva Rymers; son and daughters, Joe I. Galindo, Aurora Rodriguez, Maria Theresa Munoz; 3 granddaughters; 2 grandsons; and one great grandson. She is survived by her children, Rosa Colunga and husband Adan, Valentin Galindo, Jr. and wife Diana, Alfredo Galindo and wife Yolanda, Richard Galindo, Gloria G. Solis and husband John, Gerardo (Jerry) Galindo, Ruben Galindo, Sara J. Hurtado, Dora Rodriguez, Hortencia Pedraza and husband Frank; daughter-in-law, Josie Galindo; sisters, Maria Criado and husband Martin, Lucia Burell and husband Victor; 39 grandchildren; 71 great grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members. We celebrate her life, we honor her memory, and not a single day will pass that we will not think about her. She will always be in our hearts. Thank you for a lifetime of beautiful memories, wisdom and guidance. Special thanks to Trisun Health Care Babcock for their love and support. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2005 at Trevino Funeral Home 226 Cupples Rd. and a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A procession will depart from the funeral home at 9:30 am on Wednesday, August 10, 2005 for a 10:00 am Mass at San Fernando Cathedral. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II. Services under the direction of Trevino Cupples Funeral Home.
