Saul Sandoval

Saul Sandoval, loving Husband & Father passed away September 29th, 2018. He was born to Carlos and Hortencia Sandoval January 10th 1943. Saul graduated from Central Catholic High School and St Mary's University, where he was commissioned into the Corp of Engineers. Saul was a Captain in the Army. Saul was also owner & manager of Pan American Insurance Agency and San Antonio Occupational Therapy Services.
Saul was a "jack of all trades" building and fixing things gave him great joy. He loved the outdoors, both hunting and fishing and was a craftsman at heart. With a passion for archery his greatest hobby was building his own traditional bows and arrows out of wood. Wood working became his joy in the later chapter of his life. Saul was very proud of his family and he will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Carla Rose Sandoval, his daughter; Linda (Clifford) Odendaal and son, Saul Sandoval Jr, brother; Carlos (Isabelle) Sandoval, sister; Mary (Carlos) Rodriguez and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services A Celebration of Life will be at 11am Tuesday October 16, at Porter Loring 1101 McCullough with Services following at Fort Sam at 1:15pm. In lieu of flowers a memorial gift to either Texas Wildlife Rescue or Texas Chihuahua Rescue is requested.
