Sydney Kay Glaeser Ostrom, born on December 18, 1942 in San Antonio, Texas, passed on July 9, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Imogene (Bell) Glaeser and beloved pets Eric, Brady and Barley. She graduated from Highlands High School and Draughon's Business College and worked for USAF Security Service for 14 years in San Antonio, Germany and Turkey. While living in Washington, D.C. and Centreville, VA she worked for the American Bus Association and E-Systems. Upon returning to San Antonio, she spent numerous years volunteering in daughter Reagan's elementary, middle and high schools. She served as President of the Spirit Club at Churchill High School. After Reagan's graduation, she worked for the Capital Group/American Funds until 1997. She is survived by her beloved husband of over 50 years, Ron Ostrom; daughter, Reagan; and grandsons, Cooper and Campbell Payne. Other survivors include her brother, Stephen Glaeser; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Ingrid Ostrom of Las Vegas, NV; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Tammy Mullen of Wrightsville, PA; cousin, Susan (Tedford) Coleman of Houston, TX; and other numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends to include her beloved dog, Bonne.

A memorial service will be held at a place and time to be determined.
