Sylvia Ramirez Obituary

RAMIREZ
Sylvia Gallo Ramirez, age 71, passed away on April 8, 2013, after her valiant fight with cancer. Sylvia was born to the late Humberto and Margaret Gallo on September 27, 1941, in San Antonio, Texas. Sylvia was married fifty-two years to the love of her life Frank Ramirez, Jr. Family and friends were Sylvia's passion and delight. Sylvia is survived by her husband, Frank Ramirez, Jr.; daughter, Leticia (Letty) Miller ( Jack) ; son, Frank (Tico) Ramirez; grandson, David, granddaughter, Elise, step grandchildren, Chad, Johnathon, David and Courtney; sister, Norma Lozano (Placido), brothers, Herb Gallo (Aida), and David Gallo (Terri). She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives, nieces, nephews and friends. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the oncology staff at Metropolitan Methodist Hospital and the staff of Odyssey Hospice for their support in her final days. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be presided by Fr. Frank, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, on Monday, April 15, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. Donations may be made to the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Research Center, 1515 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, Texas 77030.

I'm sorry Frank and Letty for your lost of your mom. I lost my dad in 2009 to Pancreatic Cancer, so I know exactly what you are going through. My words will not diminish your pain, but I just wanted to let you know that my prayers and thoughts will be with your family.
