Taylor Cummings Obituary

Taylor Marsh Cummings, treasured son of James Harvey Cummings died in a car accident September 21, 2003. Taylor was born July 10, 1984 in Dallas, TX. He was the son of James Cummings and the late Sue Marsh Cummings. Taylor was a recent graduate of Texas Military Institute in San Antonio. He was a recipient of the National Latin Award for three consecutive years, and had begun Texas Tech University as a freshman, majoring in Spanish. Throughout his life, Taylor was committed to his family and friends. He is survived by his father, James Cummings and wife Barbara Cummings of San Antonio; sister and her husband, Dr.'s Stephanie and Gregory Lisciandro and their children, Noah, Hannah and Sarah of San Antonio; brother, Michael Cummings and wife Elizabeth and their children, Jackson and Isabelle of Dallas; grandmother, Ruth Cummings of Waco; uncle, David Keith Cummings and wife Paige Cummings of San Antonio; cousins, Dan Fitzgerald, Nancy Fitzgerald, Kitty Depetrie and other family relatives in Dallas; other relatives from Waco. Honorary Pallbearers are his friends from Texas Military Institute graduating class of 2003. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, P.O. Box 1950, Clarksburg, MD, 20871-1950. Services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park on Austin Highway at 9:00 A.M. in the morning on Wednesday, September 24, 2003. Sunset Funeral Home.
