To the family and friends of Tim Jackman,

Tim was a truly cherished individual. I had the privilege of knowing him during his time as a volunteer at the Madison VA Hospital, where I currently work. He was always there to assist me with wheelchairs, particularly when they needed repairs. One of my fondest memories of Tim is when he took me to the Chiller Plant, allowing me to see the area where all the wheelchair repairs happened, even though I don´t handle those repairs myself. His absence will be deeply felt.

For Tim´s Obit: I met Tim at Ft. Beavers, Korea in 1966. We were assigned to the 1st Bn 73rd Armor, 7th Infantry Division. We became fast friends along with several other officers in the unit. In 1969 Tim, Walt Mays, Tim´s roommate in Korea and I all served in Vietnam but in different units and locations.
We maintained contact by phone and E mail. In retirement years, we and others would have reunions at places like Concord and Lexington, Gettysburg, San Antonio and other sites for the historical and cultural experience and the pleasure of each other´s company. Those were great times. I last saw Tim at his residence in Madison on 9 Dec 2024. My last phone call with him was on 27 March 2025. May God have welcomed you home Tim, you were a great friend. With love Mike Ebert

Wonderful Baylor classmate and MSC friend for many years. Tim and I stayed in touch over the decades and it was always wonderful to catch up and tell stories of old. His passing makes me very sad.
