Willard DeVoise Obituary

DEVOISE
Willard Lyn DeVoise was born September 1, 1949, in San Antonio, Texas, the third child of Aileen and Willard Louis DeVoise who preceded him in death. He is survived by two sisters, Stella DeVoise and husband Bill R. Baker, Laure Seime and husband Wayne, nephews Randall Lyn Wingenroth and wife Lyndie, Jason Schwab and wife Karen, nieces Sabrina Porter and husband Joel, Charla Sartain and husband Dennis, aunt Margaret Jones and husband Bob, uncle Herbert Stark, and many cousins, grandnieces and grandnephews. Willard grew up in San Antonio and graduated from McCollum High School. He was an ironworker in San Antonio, became a welder for Brown and Root in Bishop, Texas, and excelled in this field. He became a welding inspector and served in Quality Assurance for H. B. Zachry Construction. His work took him to various Zachry sites in Texas, Virginia,South Carolina, and Florida. He passed away in his home in Ruskin, Florida, at age 62.
Graveside services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park, 1735 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 11:00 am.

So sorry to hear of Lynne's passing. He was a friend of my brother's and a visitor in my home several times. He always had a smile for everyone.
