William Wallace Obituary

Lt. Col. William G. Wallace, beloved husband and father, U.S. Air Force, retired, died on November 25, 2003 at the age of 78. He was preceded in death by his parents, James S. Wallace Sr. and Mary A. Wallace; his son, William G. Wallace, Jr. and a brother, James Wallace. He is survived by his wife, Donna P. Wallace; daughters, Pat Miller and husband John, Tereasa Wallace and husband Paul Moyer, Elizabeth Wallace and husband Russell Alexander, Corinne McKay and husband Danny; sister, Dorothy Day; eight grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and a large number of golfing buddies. Bill was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree, Council No. 9681, a former Lions Club member, member of the American Legion Converse Post and a longtime member of St. Monica's Catholic Church. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and T.E.C. and was a volunteer at the BAMC BRAG volunteer office. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the BAMC BRAG volunteer office. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2003 from 6:00 8:30 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be on Monday, December 1, 2003 at 9:30 A.M. at St. Monica's Catholic Church in Converse followed by Interment with Full Military Honors at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. After the Interment, a Reception will be held at the Fort Sam Houston Golf Club House. Colonial Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
