William Whitten Obituary

Retired TSGT William Whitten served honorably in the United States Air Force for over 22 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roosevelt and Edell Whitten.
William is survived by his wife of 23 years Gloria Whitten.

He is survived by his siblings, Roosevelt Whitten Jr, Lillian "Moot" Wardlow, Claudia Whitten, as well as cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his children, Sonja Whitten, William Whitten Jr., Sherisa Dvorsky, Kesha Martin and Brandis Webster. He is survived by stepchildren Thomas and Edward Moreno. He is survived by 13 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 12, 2023 from 4pm-10pm. Final viewing will be held Monday, February 13, 2023 at 8:30am with an 11am arrival time at Ft. Sam National Cemetery.

A celebration of his life will be held Monday, February 13, 2023 at Ft. Sam Houston Golf Clubhouse immediately following his internment at Ft. Sam National Cemetery. The address is 1050 Harry Wurzbach, San Antonio TX 78209. There will be light refreshments and a cash bar. Please come celebrate the life of William Whitten with those that love him.

Our deepest condolonces to Gloria Whitten and to all the family of Will. We have special memories of him when we got together at the Union Christmas parties. We always has a good time with him and Gloria. I remember the time we got to meet some of his family at his birthday party. RIP Will Whitten. Gone But Not Forgotten
