Zachary Benavidez Obituary
Zachary Rene Benavidez beloved son and brother was tragically taken from us June 8, 2016. He was born in San Antonio to Christopher Rene and Yvonne Benavidez. Zachary graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 2011. Zachary's whole life was his family and his animals. He had dreams of becoming a firefighter so he could help others. He was a gamer, his gamer tag was Cykoblade and he loved his anime. Zachary was a kind soul and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his parents, Christopher Rene & Yvonne Benavidez; grandparents, Janie & Ruben Davila Sr., Lylah Trigo, and Domingo Benavidez; siblings, Ashley Benavidez, Christopher Benavidez, Joshua Benavidez, Alexandra Juarez, Christina Juarez; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Services
Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM Sunday, June 12, 2016 followed by a rosary at 7:00 PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 AM Monday, June 13, 2016 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church with interment to follow at Lockehill Cemetery. Online guestbook at www.missionparks.com

Zachery I really wanted to see you again long before this senseless tragedy...you should still be here with your family and freinds it has been very difficult for me to accept. I remember when you and your parents would spend many christmas hoilidays together with our family and go to your games. I've loved you since the day you were born and I will love you until the day I'm taken from this earth. I want you to know that I will watch over your brothers and sister. Rene, Bonnie and family- since hearing the news of Zachary's passing, my heart has ached for you all. I can't imagine the pain you are in or the hole that this loss has left in your heart. I do however know that our faith in God is the only way to get through a horrific event like this. Put your trust in God, hold onto his hand tight, he will carry you through this and bring you out the other side. You are incredibly loving parents. Lean on your children they will comfort you.
