Aaron DeVenere Obituary

DeVenere, Aaron Lee SAN DIEGO -- Aaron was born May 3, 1986, in San Diego and raised in the community of Allied Gardens. A loving husband and father, he was senselessly and tragically taken from the life he loved so much, way too young, on Sunday, January 26, 2014. Aaron was smart, funny and a loving man that put his family and friends first. He was the man that would be there with no questions asked. He saved many lives, brought happiness and laughter to those around him. Growing up in AG, he played football and baseball, but loved being with his friends and family the most. Aaron loved the water, and enjoyed taking his boys fishing often. He had many talents; he was an artist, a musician, and a "do it all" kind of man. If he needed to accomplish a task, he would teach himself how and succeed. Aaron has touched many lives, and always encouraged greatness for himself and others. He will be missed dearly, loved forever and always by his wife, Amy, sons, Damien and Tristen; grandparents Randy and Sally Meyers, Marion DeVenere; brother Cody, and sisters Kymberly, Faith, and Autumn; his parents Michael and Terri as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and many others. Services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2014, at Palisades Presbyterian Church, 6301 Birchwood St., San Diego, 92120, in Allied Gardens at 11:00 a.m. A celebration of life will follow the service at a location near the water, directions and maps will be distributed after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Island County Credit Union in the name of his wife Amy DeVenere and also online at fundrazr.com under DeVenere family relief fund.

If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane
We would walk right up to heaven
And bring you back again
No farewell words were spoken
No time to say goodbye
You were gone before we knew it
And only God knows why
Our hearts still ache in sadness
And and secret tears still flow What it meant to lose you
No one could ever know
But now we know you want us
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store
Since you'll never be forgotten
We pledge to you today
A hallowed place within our Hearts
Is where you'll always stay.........
