Albert Jasiczek Obituary

Albert (Jake) Jasiczek 03/08/1950 – 03/14/2015 Known as Jake to his family and friends was born in Villingen Germany. He arrived in New York in 1951 along with his parents and siblings. He was raised in Jersey City NJ. As a Teenager he was a member of the Civil Air Patrol, (CAP) he joined CAP again in 2012. He joined the US Navy in 1969 and the Navy brought him to California. In 1971 he arrived in San Diego. He married Madelaine Soda and they had a son Michael James. Jake received his Batchelor’s Degree in Technical Education and two Master Degrees from National University. He rejoined the Civil Air Patrol in 2012 because Granddaughter Katie Hamiel had joined and now Cadet Captian Hamiel and her brother Travis are both members of CAP He married Marilyn Marie Mann in 1986. He served in the Navy for 10 years and as an Aviation Structural Mechanic (AME1) and Navy Reserve for 13 years. He retired from Civil Service (NADEP) North Island in 2005. He and Marilyn lived Poland for 2 ½ years and had a wonderful time getting acquainted with the many relatives we had met on our first trip in 1991 we toured Europe, and we had the pleasure of having two of our Granddaughters with us while we were there. Tomie Marie Krempp-Allen stayed with us for nine months and Jannettie Krempp was there a whole year. He visited over 23 countries in all his travels. Jake was preceded in death by his parents Stefania and Eugene and his brother Henry. He is survived by his wife Marilyn Mann of 29 years; Son Michael Jasiczek, step-children John Krempp Jr, Mari Lynn Hamiel, Karin Krempp; seven grandchildren Karl Krempp, Tomie Krempp-Allen, Jannettie Downing, Jesslynn Krempp, AJ Krempp, Katie Hamiel, and Travis Hamiel; and two great grandchildren; sister Joan Miklas; brothers Antony, Jan, Stanley, Thaddeus, and Lester; several aunts, uncles and many cousins in Poland; and his first wife Madelaine and other loving relatives. He was known by many names, Albert, Jake, Wojciech, Dad, and Grandpa. He was a Loving Husband, Dad, Grandpa, and Friend. A memorial service, followed by a reception and reminiscing, will be held on Monday April 27, at 11am at Bethany Lutheran Church, 2051 Sunset Cliffs Blvd, San Diego; committal at Miramar National Cemetery begins at 2 pm; after which there will be a gathering at the O’Club at MCAS Miramar.
