Aleine E. Revetti December 23, 1928 - December 7, 2015 SAN DIEGO Aleine Elizabeth Revetti passed peacefully into God's loving arms December 7, 2015, surrounded by loved ones. At 86 years young, Aleine will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, companion, and friend.Fondly known as "Sissy" to NY friends and family, Aleine was born December 23, 1928 in Salamanca, NY. She was the only daughter of Ethel Mildred Wilcox and William Daniel Rail; brothers Donald Henry and William Albert Rail preceded her in death. Aleine graduated from Salamanca HS in 1946 and married Michael Angelo Revetti on May 20, 1947. Always the adventurer, the Revetti's picked-up roots in 1956, crossing the US to make San Diego their home. Here Aleine made lifelong friends working for PacBell /AT&T and continued to enjoy travel, volunteering, and adventures with them throughout retirement. A sunny day with friend Ginny and a bogie board at Torrey Pines Beach was a favorite getaway. Aleine was an independent woman of high ideals and strong character; she worked hard and greatly valued her friends and family life. In later years, Sid Walkon was her steadfast companion.Aleine is survived by daughters, Patty Schoppmeyer (Mike), Ann Volkmar (Bob), and Kathy Gregg (Tom); seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Her positive and loving spirit will forever smile upon family and friends, encouraging all to be the best they can be.A Celebration of Life will be held January 18 at the Carmel Mtn. Ranch Country Club, San Diego, CA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to AT&T Pioneers, Life Member Club.
