Bob was an amazing man. Adored his family, amazing father and husband. He was wonderful, kind, strong.

Uncle Bob taught me to swim in Mission Bay. As I was becoming a stronger swimmer, I wanted to swim to the other end, halfway across the bay I realized I may have undertook too much. I looked over at Uncle Bob and I noticed he was watching me with eagle eyes, making sure that I was okay. He probably never realized this, but he gave me the strength to make it to the other end. I know he is watching over the family with the same attentiveness.

Please, accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. I am sad that I will be out of town and must miss the service. I hope to visit Keiko, Suzanne and Laura upon my return later in July or whenever I may. I will be thinking of you all and send my love and warm hugs to each of you. ???
