Connor White Obituary
On May 5th, 17-year-old Connor passed away unexpectedly. He spent a lifetime in Catholic education, attended Notre Dame Academy and Cathedral Catholic High School. Connor was a model student attaining a near-perfect academic record.
He was also active in sports; playing soccer, Pop Warner football, youth wrestling, and basketball. In addition, he led a Southern California lifestyle: surfing, skiing (double blacks), skateboarding, and loved fishing.
Connor was active in his Parish, St. Therese of Carmel, completing all youth rites culminating with his Confirmation this past August.
At Cathedral Catholic, Connor took great pride in being a member of the football program for three years. He rarely missed a workout or practice and hoped to make an impact his Senior year. He would've been a graduate, class of '22.
Connor loved spending time with his extended family and was always quick with a bit of humor. He had hoped to become a pilot and was in the process of deciding which university to attend. His 4.2 GPA gave him many options.
Connor is survived by his older brother, Ryan; his mother, Laura Brinker; and his father, Matt.
A funeral service will take place at 1:30 pm on Thursday, May 27th at St. Therese of Carmel.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Mario Fierro Scholarship Fund at Cathedral Catholic High School.

As the years continue to pass, I find myself thinking of Connor more and more - yet I still struggle to find the words to describe the impact he´s had on people´s lives. It is truly a tragedy to not realize how much someone is appreciated until they can no longer be told. Connor was a bright, happy, warm soul taken far before he should have been, and my deepest condolences go to his family and anyone else fortunate enough to have been able to have spent time with him. I welcome the time we meet again, my man, and I hope to make you proud before then.

Mr. White taught me in high school so I knew him on some level. I only wish them peace and love for the time to come.
