DON HUTSELL

HUTSELL, DON Don Hutsell, 76, of Escondido, California, passed away on February 15, 2010, at Palomar Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born on March 1, 1933, in Torrington, Wyoming, son of the late Hilda and Earle Hutsell. Eloping to North Hollywood, he was married for 55 years to the love of his life, Dona. He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. After his discharge, he was employed in the construction industry as a Superintendent for over 37 years, retiring in 1988. He was a Master Craftsman and loved woodworking. His second career was D&D Antiques. He enjoyed weekends in Julian and had a vast interest in many collectibles. He had acquired many long lasting friendships over the years of his life and will be greatly missed by all. He is survived by his loving wife, Dona; son Ron Hutsell (Nita) of Valley Center; daughter Diane Allen of Escon-dido, California; grand-child-ren, Jennifer (Lee) Mihoky, Jessica Hutsell, Jacob Hutsell, Tonya Tinker, Gillian Allen, Dustin Allen, and great-grand-children, William, Ryan, Emily, Savannah and Nicholas. He was preceded in death by his brother, Norman Hutsell. Graveside Service will be held on February 22, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Escon-dido, California. The funeral home in charge of arrangements is Alhiser-Comer Mortuary in Escondido, California.
