Don Morgan

1928 - 2016

Don Morgan May 30, 1928 - March 23, 2016 La Mesa Don was a mountaineer, athlete, classical violinist, and a successful man who excelled in his 33 year chosen career. He worked fourteen years in San Diego as President and fund raiser. In retirement, he was a volunteer consultant to evaluate and improve health and human services in several states and five foreign countries. In San Diego, he served on several boards, and was a founder of five nonprofit organizations, including the San Diego Foundation. The family invites you to attend the memorial service, celebrating his life at the Unitarian church on Front Street, on May 20, at 3:00 PM. Donations in Don's memory may be made to First Unitarian Universalist Church, San Diego United Way of San Diego, or any organization working for the environment.
