Eileen Stenberg Obituary
Stenberg, Eileen M. FALLBROOK -- Eileen M. Stenberg, 90, passed away November 26, 2012 in Fallbrook, Calif. She was born to Gunda (Hildahl) and Oscar Amundson on December 17, 1921 in Staples, Minn. Eileen is survived by her two daughters, Cheryl M. Giesler of Huntington Beach and Caryn Janelle Villalon of Fallbrook; her sister, Ona Mae Holmgren of Sky Valley, Calif.; two grandsons; two granddaughters; and three great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert E. Stenberg; and sister, Glenna Callahan. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Monday, December 17, 2012 at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Fallbrook. Sign the Guest book online obits.nctimes.com

My sympathy to you all at the loss of your dear Eileen. I knew her when we were both teaching at Parkview Elem., Fridley, MN in the 1960s. She was very helpful to me, a new staff member. I remember her as very creative with her students and especially the plays she directed. She will be missed by many. Janet (Livgard) Nelson
