Eleanor Tong 'Ellie' Bregman
December 22, 1932 - May 11, 2020 Born and raised in Hong Kong, immigrated to the United States in 1950 to attend Lake Forest College. Married to Robert Bregman on December 21, 1956. Graduated from the University of Illinois with a Master of Science degree in Anatomy, 1957. Moved to San Diego August 1, 1962. Western State University, College of Law - Juris Doctor, 1980. Practicing Immigration Attorney for over 30 years - Law offices of Eleanor T. Bregman. Served on the Board of Directors for the San Diego Chinese Historical Society and Museum for many years. Buried at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. Survived by 4 loving children - Ronald, Karen, Richard and Robin, and 7 grandchildren - Joshua and Cody Frohman, Madison and Maxwell Bregman, and Jaclyn, Nathan and Rex Bregman.
