Flora Pietanza

Flora, affectionately known as Nonna, was born in Mola di Bari, Italy. She died peacefully in her sleep. She will most fondly be remembered for her weekly bread making and her delicious focaccia and pizza. She is survived by her children, Cathy, Mary, Andy (Stephanie), and Elizabeth (Alan), grandchildren Sam, Matthew, Dante, Bruno, and Allegra. Visitation, Rosary and Vigil, Thursday, February 8, 2024, 5:00-8:00p.m. at Beardsley-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1818 Sunset Cliffs Blvd., San Diego. Memorial Mass, Friday, February 9, 2024, 10 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo, 2802 Cadiz St., San Diego, followed by Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the St. Charles Borromeo Academy Scholarship Fund.
