greg, well i know that wherever you are, you are watching over us, & i feel so thankful to have had you in my life, and for all those great moments you gave all of us, thankyou so much for your positive and happy vibes you brought to us all, and i know that i will never forget you.We all miss you, and hope that your are looking down at all of us and taking care of us all.

Dear Lorraine and Goyo,
We were so saddened to learn of the passing of your beloved son, Gregory. We cannot even begin to imagine losing someone so precious as your son. You have always been such dedicated parents, proud of your family and they of you. We still have fond memories of Gregory's excitement at seeing his mother complete the teaching credential program. There is a song by George Strait that mentions life is about the moments that take your breath away and not about breathing in and out. In your life of 18 years, you experienced things like the birth of your little sister, your mother's graduation and also, being a part of a Championship High School Football team. I want to thank you for one of your family's moments that took my breath away and I will always cherish this: on the night of the last home football game at Olympian, your parents asked my husband to film you and them as they escorted you onto the field. Your parents were so proud. Meanwhile, your little sister shouted from the stands "I love you Gregory" over and over again...she was sooo sweet. This moment took my breath away and helped me appreciate your family's love for life even more. Thank you! Gloria Grylls and Family.

God has blessed you with a wonderful son! I remember him fondly as a young boy at Emerson/Bandini, always polite, a little shy and that gorgeous smile. Hearing wonderful stories about Gregory is a tribute to his great parents and strong belief in God and Jesus Christ.
Your faith, friends and family will get you through this.

Today, my family and I were at my mom's grave when we noticed some teenager boys wearing special t-shirts, we also saw lots of cars driving towards the funeral home. I knew it had to be somebody special that had passed away, I paid attention to the name on the t-shirt the boys had on so I could find out who had died. My deepest condolences to Gregory's family. Loosing my mother has been so very painful, I can only imagine the pain of loosing a son! I have two, one is 21 and the other is 19. I didn't have the honor of knowing Gregory but just by looking at his picture and that smile, I can tell he was a very special person. May God bless you Mr. and Mrs. Gurrola, may God give you the strength to understand his will.

I'll never forget your sweet smile and laugh when we would play together after school. Even though we were little, I always knew you as a kind, patient, generous person. You always shared, you always included others, and you never ever forgot to say thank you! I regret not having known you as the years went on, but those memories will never leave me. They were some of my happiest childhood moments, and I count myself lucky to have at least crossed paths with you and your family.

Dude you're MISSED big time, and it sucks that we can't kick it ! It breaks my heart to know that you're gone & we won't be watching Philip Rivers take the Chargers to the Super Bowl together. My comfort is that for the short time we spent together we had some crackups, like that dude todo pedo sleepin on your sofa LOL! Ahi Yai Yai Greg u were & still r one of the good ones. God blessed me with a beautiful son for 18 years. I am honored to be your mother and I feel comfort in knowing that God chose you to enter His kingdom because you are worthy. You are in my heart forever and I know that when God choses me, you will be right there to welcome me with open arms and a smile. Until then, mi muchacho chulo!

It was a great honor to meet you. I had a great time
hanging out with you and joking around, especially watching our Chargers play. You remind me of how it felt to be young again. Thank you for that. You are such a great kid that all I can do is brag about you. Now I wonder if my kids would ever get tired of me saying "Can't you be more like Gregory," or "I don't think Gregory would of done that." You are truly a role model, and by the way, congratulation on earning your wings. We are going to miss you deeply. Some day will meet again, and we will finally be able to have a cold one together. Oh and by the way If you can, please give our chargers a little extra push during football season. Thank you, miss you, and don't worry we will take good care of your love ones.
