Jack Jones was an amazing human being. Growing up, he was one of the people that knew my father, Larry Himmer, and he always kept an eye out for me. He was a leader of leaders, and a very compassionate man. I will always have a special place for him in my heart and all his service for our country and for our church.

I will miss Jack a lot. He was a kind, dedicated, focused, humble servant of the Lord, who had no pretense. He exuded a "can do" attitude in all he did.
I loved him. This nation has lost a great Hero and Patriot.
Godspeed, Jack Jones.

I barely knew this man, yet he had a very humble and loving presence. In crossing paths in the hall at church he brought a smile to my days as a youth. Glad to learn more about his legacy.

I remember Jack as a wonderful, warm caring man who loved his family. My brother was very lucky to have him as a father-in-law. He was always so nice me and my family as well

Jack was a true hero to all - a great American

April 27, 2010

A tremendous loss for all of us. Jack epitomized what the Marine Corps wants for all of its own, My husband Ron served with Jack in Korea. He was a true hero, living a life of service and integrity. We were honored to be counted among his friends. We will attend the service Saturday. Our love and sympathy - Kathy and Ron Clark

I am sorry to learn of Jack's passing. He was one of my heroes, one who believed, committed, and served from his own solid center, a personification of Kipling's: "If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with kings, nor lose the common touch." It has been my joy and honor to know and sometimes serve with Jack. I can't grieve his passing, for he is now and will be forever whole. God bless you who knew and loved him more than I did.
