I remember Joe as being such a loving man. When I was a child at Brentwood Congregational Church in the junior choir, we sat in the chancel area during the first half of the service and would then go to Sunday School. When Joe would baptize a baby, I remember thinking that Joe was like Jesus, standing there holding the baby. He was a loving, sensitive man. I will remember him fondly.

Ruthie...Meg...Taylor...Joe...This is a wonderful picture of your dad. I have many treasured memories of him...and there is not a day that goes by that I don't miss your mom. I think of you all so often...hard to believe some of your "kids" are now married! We moved to Carmel last year and I tried to get in touch with Ian when I saw he was up this way...but the numbers I found didn't work. Please give my best to your kids and know I am thinking of you at this time, with love. Melanie
