Chuy is my brother, whom I will miss until the hour of my death. He and my Dad, Vicente Cuevas, were always there for my siblings and I. They always helped us out in any way they could. Chuy, would go out of his way for his family, as well as for his friends and employees. He never held grudges or resented anyone who did him wrong. He was living proof of the saying "TO ERR IS HUMAN, TO FORGIVE DIVINE". I miss his smile, the way he used to raise his right eye-brow when he was unsure or didn't like something or someone. I will miss his kiss on my cheek whenever we would see each other. The way he used to call my name, the times we would sing together, because we were a great duet together, but only because he was such a wonderful singer. The world has become a lesser place without him. His presence at family gatherings and/or any other event would bring class and elegance to the gathering/event. His beautiful smile and love that oozed out from every one of his pores will be greatly missed by more than just myself. He was a great son, brother, father, husband, uncle, brother-in-law and son-in-law. He lived life to it's fullest, and I mean he lived it to the full extent of the word. His loves were, God, his Wife and children, his parents, his brothers and sisters, family members, and Chuy DID love his neighbor as God wants all of us to. "Te pido hermanito de mi vida, que rezes por mi e intercedas ante Dios Nuestro Senor, para que me ayude a ser como tu y mi papa, para que el dia que Dios me mande llamar de este mundo, pueda reunirme contigo y mi papasito. Te quiero con todo mi corazon, te extrano muchisimo, no hay un dia que pase que no piense en ti, y desde el dia en que te fuiste mi vida no a vuelto a ser igual. Reza por me. (I love you), Hortensia

Chuy,is my wonderful and beloved brother. I miss his smile, his laughter, his gentle kiss on my cheek everytime we saw each other. It is so hard to accept the fact that I will not see him anymore in this life. I know I will see him in heaven, along with my dear Dad. Chuy, was the only one, besides Dad, that helped each and everyone of us, (his siblings) in one way or another. He loved life, and lived it to it's fullest. His first love was his wife and children, then God, then his mother and father and his siblings, than love for music, and last but not least all his brothers and sisters in god. Chuy did love his neighbor as himself. Chuy never hated anyone, and never held a grudge. Whenever he attended a gathering of any kind, his presence brought class and elegance to the room, and when he would sing, all who listened would get the chills, to hear such a beautiful and distinguished voice.

Tu Hermana, Hortensia

My Tio Chuy was someone many of us looked up to, reguardless of gender or age.. Even though he isnt here w/ us in flesh,we will all live on the memory of this wounderful Uncle, Husband, Dad, Brother , and Friend. And we will all try and wish to succeed in everything in life like he did. My Tio Chuy could warm your heart w/ his voice, face, or just w/ a simple "HELLO THERE". We will all miss him forever, but all we can do is be closer to God. After this experience I know I will be. So that when my day comes my heart can be warmed again by his voise, face and his "hello There!!" And I know that my Tio Chuy, Lito, Tio Javier, my Dad& all the angels will be waiting for me. R.I.P my Beautiful Tio Chuy WE LOVE YOU
