Kathleen Duque Kit' Carr October 8, 1942 - November 1, 2015 SAN DIEGO Kathleen ("Kit") Duque Carr passed away peacefully at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego on November 1, 2015. Kit was born in Los Angeles, California on October 8, 1942 to Thomas Lorenzo and Jane Henshaw Duque. Kit attended Santa Ana High School and graduated from San Jose State College. She was an innate teacher, a life-long student of the natural world, and an avid bird-watcher and Kit really loved a good party.She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Meling Carr in 1996; and her son, Tomas ("Tad") Meling Carr in 1997. She is survived by her three children, Mary Ann Carr Wilson, James Duque Carr and David Galdos Carr; her four grandsons, Tad, Isaac, Liam and Dominic Wilson; and by her brother and sister, Tony and Ellie Duque. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was beloved by all who knew her, and will be greatly missed. The family requests donations to EWTN or to The Muscular Dystrophy Association in lieu of flowers.
