August 25, 2023. Just saw Kevin on You Tube. Very brave and very sad. To be 54 making that video and knowing he has 5 children is just awful for any person. So brave to do the video and wish a world of happier days for his family.,DD from Philadelphia Pa.

I stumbled across Kevin's video series, and watched every one. I never met him and thanks to ALS, I never will. Still, I feel as though I got to know and admire this brave man. Watching such a fine person wither so much, so quickly brought me to tears over and over. I cannot begin to fathom his family's torment. Kevin did not set out to show the horrors of ALS to scare people, but rather to educate and incite. It worked. He inspired me to get involved in ALS advocacy. I hate this evil disease. It enrages me that such a terrible thing still exists. I want it destroyed, wiped off the planet, obliterated. Kevin might be gone, but He still inspires others, and is not forgotten.

Kevin and his wife and family were very brave to share his struggles with this rare challenge called ALS known by less than one percent of the US, and those who watch his online video documentary cannot help being moved by this extraordinary man and his family who loved and cared for him until the bitter end. He raised awareness of this mysterious condition, in addition to everything else he accomplished In his life. You should be very proud of him, and you have my profound sympathy.

What a brave, beautiful man. I found Kevin on youtube. I wish there was more that could have been done. He was not scared of this disease, hopefully there will be a cure someday.

May God rest Kevin and comfort his family. I was deeply moved by watching his videos. To watch such a handsome and physically active man die in the prime of his life is so heartbreaking. I pray they find a cure to this cruel disease.

Watching Kevin's journey through ALS is beyond touching. What a brave and wonderful person he was. It was so hard to see the extreme changes from one video to the next. ALS is the cruelest of all diseases. I hope there is a cure one day. My deepest regards to the O'Donnell family.

To Kevin and family. What a courageous human to chronicle his ALS journey. This is such a devastating diagnosis for all. My son's father , 53, was recently diagnosed and I went looking for information and found Kevin's legacy. Knowing what to expect doesn't make it easier but I liken it to bracing yourself before an impact. God bless you and I am deeply saddened by your loss. Kevin, rest, your battle is complete. Adriana

I just discovered Kevin's videos. My husband was diagnosed with ALS in June and I am living the same life he chronicled. I just wanted to say something to let you know he helped people by making those videos. It was also a therapy for him, I'm sure. God bless you as you keep and celebrate the sweet memories of your lives together.

To the Family of Kevin, I would like to express my sympathy and also my support to you all. I just got through watching all of his videos from You Tube on "Living with ALS". It took courage and strength for Kevin to do those videos and I hope you know how much they mean to people going through the same things. My husband, Ron, died of ALS a year ago September and I was his Caregiver, keeping him home til his death. I know the sacrifices you all made in caring for Kevin and also the joys you must have shared. Kevin seemed to be a man with a great sense of humor and determination. Thank you again for sharing his videos and I know they will also be of comfort to you since his death. God Bless You All. My Heart goes out to You. Sandi Bryer

I am so very sorry to hear about Kevin's passing. In high school, he was a good friend and truly great football teammate. I lost touch with Kevin after that but his family should know how much he was loved and respected by all his teammates and friends from those days. Kevin was an all-star middle linebacker and tight end on one of the most successful teams in his high school's history. But more than just making big plays with his athletic ability, Kevin's obvious enthusiasm for the game was infectious. He made the rest of us want to have as much fun as he was having playing football. High school football was just one brief and relatively small part of Kevin's life. But as a teammate then, he made the folks around him better and happier. I'm sure those wonderful qualities must have continued throughout his life.
With deepest condolences,
John Crew

My family would like to send prayers and love to Kevin's family. I lost my own precious son, also named Kevin, several years ago to ALS. He was born in 1959, and shared your Kevin's love of the great outdoors , bike riding, hiking, camping, and just had such a passion for Mother Nature and all the beauty and serenity he experienced there.
I share your pain and heartbreak from losing a loved one to such a horrible disease. May you all have peace in your hearts as you say Goodbye to your dear one.
God Bless

Words cannot adequately express the loss I feel over ODs passing. I was blessed to have known him during my days as a Phi Gam at USC and beyond. Kevin touched so many lives while here and was loved by all those who knew him. He faced a devastating illness with grace, dignity and courage. He never gave up always "Fighting On". Now he has been called Home having fulfilled God's purpose for him on Earth. I take comfort in the knowledge that he is at the Right Hand of our Father. To all those who have known Kevin over his all to short life and especially to Kevin's immediate family, may God's ever present hand wipe away your tears and comfort you in this time of immeasurable loss. I will miss my friend forever - until I see him again.
