Laura, I recently learned about your health troubles and passing away and I am sad, I wished I had known sooner. I am sure you had touched the life of many and were an inspiration and became a shinning star in their lives. When I see the bright stars shinning I will think that you are one of them.

Laura Wolfe was an absolute, bright light in our world. She still is, as I believe she left her mark on many people. I am grateful to have known Laura for many years, meeting her in 1996 at the Union-Tribune. Smart, strong, SOCIAL, inclusive, lovely and loving. Laura, thank you for your love and friendship! Laura, Cookie was quite active at the time of your passing and is settling in and happy. A great companion. She sits on my lap for hours while I work. -- Love, Mary Cate

Laura was such a pleasure to work with. I didn't see her every day, but when I did her smile made my day. She will be missed!

I was very sorry to hear of Laura's recent passing. Laura and I started our friendship back in 1967. We kept in touch through the years; however the last time I saw her was probably 3 years ago when we got together for lunch. Since the beginning of our friendship we spent time with each others families, and I have many endearing stories of her. She was a wonderful person. She will be missed.

I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Laura's passing. I moved from San Diego several years ago and gradually over the years we communicated less and less but memories go on. We went to Disneyland to celebrate my 50th birthday. Laura was always up for a party! She supported me during my hard times and always had an uplifting word. What a loss to San Diego and the world. She will surely be missed.
