Lorie was my old neighbor and we became friends pretty quickly. Our kids grew up together and are still good friends as was Lorie and I. I miss miss stopping by just to say hello or us waving to each other. I'll miss our talks and our gossip- lol. God needed another rose for his garden so he took you. Brittany has grown into a fine young woman and Brandon is growing into a great young man - you did good honey. I miss you so much my friend! God Bless!

Lorie worked with all of us in Lake Forest for many years and was almost like family. She had a wonderful spirit and quick laugh that I can hear to this day. I will keep you all close in our prayers.

Lorie has been a dear friend of mine for many years. She was a person who could always make you laugh. I will never forget the good times we had being pregnant together for the first time, with our daughters.

My daughter, Rachel worked with Lorie. I had met her a couple of times while in Childrens Orchard. She was always smiling and Rachel enjoyed her so very much. I pray for her family and friends as they try to deal with this tragedy. May God continue to bless the family and uplift them as they need it. Thank You Lorie for giving Rachel a chance.How special for Lorie to have left such a positive influence in so many lives down the path of life.

Lorie, you were my mentor, friend and for the 6 years I worked for you and near you you were like a second mom to me. You taught me so much. I still can't believe someone so full of life and laughter is gone. I love you very much and will always remember all of our fun times together. I am so sorry for your loss Rocky, Brittany, and Brandon. I am so shocked to hear about Lorie's sudden passing. She was a wonderful woman who was not just a boss of mine (Children's Orchard) a few years ago but also a friend. God Bless you all and well miss you Lorie!

In those never-to-be-forgottten recollections, Lorie lives, and to linger in hearts that remember is not to die...God has a concern for the one he beckons home as well as for the one he leaves behind..Jesus understands your pain..As stated in John 11:35, after losing a loved one JESUS WEPT. Lorie had an amazing heart..I will miss her dearly. Lorie is walking on streets of gold. She was a beautiful, caring and a generous lady.
