Olga Fisher Obituary

Fisher, Olga Gutierrez 01/07/1919 ~ 03/15/2015 Life of Olga Gutierrez Fisher EL CAJON -- Olga was born in Mexico City, Mexico, and later became a naturalized citizen. She grew up in Tucson, Arizona and upon a visit to Los Angeles to visit a cousin, was introduced to our dad, Joe, and after ther courtship, they married in 1940. They lived in the Los Angeles area until 1955, and then moved to San Diego and El Cajon. In 1956, they purchased the home that the family still owns. Olga was active with Elks Lodge #1812 Elkonettes for years and went to Women's Fitness World while working out regularily. She volunteered at El Cajon Valley Hospital for years. Olga was a hairdresser here in El Cajon and continued doing ladies hair even after retiring from working in a salon. Olga is survived by two sons, Richard (wife Kathy) and George (wife Sheila), grandchildren, Patti Hawkins, Michelle Servey, Amy Fisher, Brent Fisher, Shawn Fisher and 10 great- grandchildren. Services are Saturday, March 28, 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 500 Farragut Circle, El Cajon, reception to follow. Burial immediately following at Greenwood Cemetery, San Diego. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to El Cajon Presbyterian Church or Elks Lodge #1812, Elkonettes. In Olga's honor, please wear red.

She passed away the day my mom passed 3/15/14.
She was so funny and kind!! My mom had a best friend named Olga. How strange that we are all connected in some way. Take care Olga. We love you!
