Rex Roy Lloyd November 30, 1930 - February 9, 2017 Oceanside Rex Roy Lloyd, 86, died surrounded by his adoring family on Thursday, February 9, 2017.He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Mary Jane Riordan Lloyd, his devoted son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Joanne Lloyd, devoted daughter and son-in-law Kathleen and Dennis Murphy, daughters, Mary Ellen Fulton (Brian), and Jacqueline Bickford (Leee).Rex also leaves 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was sadly predeceased by his beloved grandson, Matthew Roy Lloyd.Rex was born to the late John Edward and Mary Mae Lloyd of Heber City, Utah on November 30,1930.Rex proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps for 27 years. He was a veteran of both the Korean and Vietnam Wars, retiring as a Master Gunnery Sergeant. He was a respected and successful business owner in partnership with his wife and son for the remainder of his life. He not only took pride in his business, but truly relished the friends he made during his time in business.Rex will be remembered for his kind heart, his great good humor and his love for his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.Funeral arrangements are as follows: Service at Eternal Hills 1999 S. El Camino Real, Oceanside, California at 1:00 PM on February 19, 2017.
