Richard Harold passed away at the age of 76, preceded by his wife, Anna Marie (aka Nancy). Dick was born in Abington, PA, and passed in San Diego CA.Dick was the son of John and Elizabeth Harold. He is survived by three siblings, Eleanor Kirby, Rita Camren and John Harold. He will be missed by his five children, Patricia Kegel, Susan Swann, James McManus, Kathleen Wright and Frank Donahue. He was a beloved father, husband, and grandfather to nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.Dick worked as an auto mechanic for the Navy Exchange. His career began on the Willow Grove Naval Air Station in PA, and he retired in the same Capacity at the Naval Training Center in San Diego. All that knew him were struck by his quiet humor and generous hospitality. Dick is now at peace in heaven, joyously reunited with his beloved wife and soul mate, Nancy. He will be loved eternally.Funeral services will be held on February 18, 2021 at 2:00pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Lakeside, CA. An update will be available on Legacy.com regarding the streaming of this service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Feeding San Diego or your local Food Bank.

John, Rita and Eleanor - I was surprised, and sorry, to read about the loss of your brother in the Intelligencer this morning. I remember meeting him once when he was a child, using crutches, and again in 1987 when I made a trip to California to recoup after losing my son.

Rest in peace dick, what a wonderful person, will be missed by many, I will always remember are little camp fires by the camper at Jimmy's house....hope you and Nancy are enjoying yourself again....you touched so many peoples life's in a great positive way....such a great man..

There was no way I could have included all that was great about this man in his obituary, as he was one of the most loving and nurturing individuals I have ever come to know. He will be sorely missed. He was an amazing step father and friend.
