ROSE COLONELLI Obituary

COLONELLI, ROSE B. Rose was born on January 17, 1914 in Belfast, Ireland. She died peacefully in her Del Cerro home on January 19, 2011. She came to America with her parents, brothers and sister in 1921 and they lived in New York. Rose married Al Colonelli in 1935 and they came to California in 1941 where they resided ever since. Rose was known to her loving family and friends as "Dotsie". She was an avid coin collector. She loved playing the piano, Irish music and singing with family and close friends especially on St. Patrick's Day. Al and Rose were great partners in life and in business. She has truly enjoyed her many family members and friendships. Rose was a member of St. Therese Catholic Parish Community. She was extremely generous and welcomed everyone. She was a true friend and will be dearly missed by all of her loving family and friends. Rose is survived by her daughter Eileen, son Pete, son-in-law Roger, daughter-in-law Carolyn, grandchildren Roger, Ida, Brian, Laura, Larry, Julie, Patrick, Peter, Lynn, Mustafa, great-grandchildren Ernie, Jacob, Emma, Ryan, Scott, Krista, Jeffrey, Andrew, Katelyn, Connor, Justin and Reyhana. A Rosary will be said Sunday evening January 30th at 7:00 p.m. and a Memorial Mass will celebrated on Monday, January 31st at 11:00 a.m., both at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 2766 Navajo Road, El Cajon, CA 92020. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
