Growing up in Courtenay, B.C. Foursquare Church, Rev. Hicks was always a blessing to our congregation. At the age of 19, in 1972 I travelled to Chico, CA to attend a youth conference, and Bro. Hicks did a session on the Holy Spirit. During the praise and worship and at his encouragement, the room filled with our praises and His Presence!! My life was never the same. It was the first time I had "worshipped in spirit and truth". That session opened my understanding to the realm of the spirit and then his teaching on the gifts of the spirit charted a course for me that I have never veered off from. I look forward to seeing both Bro. and Sister Hicks in heaven. My prayers for your comfort and peace attend this message. In Him, Kerry (MacBeth)Carmichael

We met Dr. Hicks about 25 years ago as we were the guest singers in a a church where he ministered. He spent much time with us and and gave us an explosive Word about the nations and today we have fulfilled that Word. WE loved his heart for ministers and are honored to have known such a great saint of our generation whose work will be celebrated throughout all eternity. Shekinah Glory Ministries

There is a certain pain when one of this stature leaves the earth - BUT - there is a greater rejoicing that he is "home safely" with Jesus forever - his mission accomplished. Knew him in Oklahoma when another quality brother was teaching believers in Christ how to "know" Him thus "trust" Him. They were special ministers of God's Word and heart - Brother Roy Hicks and Brother Kenneth Hagin...pure vessels. We will miss your presence Brother Hicks - but we rejoice that you touched our lives and remember you with "thanksgiving."

Dr. Hicks was always a blessing and inspiration to us. The first time we saw him was at Brother Hagin's Campmeeting in Tulsa. Then later, he and his wonderful wife came on several occaisions and spoke to our church family in San Diego. They both graced our lives so dearly. He has left us a legacy and high standard of life and ministry that will be a challenge for us all to strive to attain. The Hicks family is in our hearts and prayers. God bless.
