SARAH LINDGREEN LAMB

LAMB, SARAH LINDGREEN Sarah Lindgeen Lamb passed away peacefully at her home on November 8, 2010. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jerry of 66 years. Sarah Modin was born on May 29, 1924 in San Dimas, California. She was the third of six children born to Levi Lee and Pearl Marie Lindgreen. She was known to her loved ones as Dene and is survived by her son Steve, daughter-in-law Gail, sisters Nola and Loreen and brother Jerry. Growing up in San Dimas surrounded by citrus orchards, one of Sarah's favorite memories is canning fruit at Grandma's house. The family moved to San Diego in 1941 and became part of Kearney High School's first graduation class. Sarah and Jerry met each other while both worked for Ryan Aircraft during the war. Since Jerry was gone from home a lot as a building contractor, Sarah's time with her family was treasured. For many years camping and fishing in Baja was very special to the family. Her passion for genealogy led her to communicate with people all over the world. Dene was so much more to her family and friends than can be mentioned.
