I miss my Bald Eagle so very much! I miss rubbing your bald head after you'd shaved. I miss working on the jigsaw puzzles with you...it's certainly NOT the same doing them by myself! Mario misses watching those games and the discussions you two had! As well as your expertise and advice on projects he attempted. Don't be too hard on those Angels up there, you hear me? Rest assured, I WILL hear about it and I don't want to have to kick your butt when I see you!! We love you, Steve...thanks for everything!!!

I met Steve working at Hardy Scales 1973-1975. I was so young, and so green. He taught me so much about business and was a wonderful role model. "Sarge" was a great friend with a big laugh and always a smile on his face. I've thought about him fondly over the years and it was with great sadness I read of his passing. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. He was one of the good guys.

Steve knew everyone on our street and was like the backbone of our block. We were lucky to have a neighbor and friend like Steve who was helpful, proactive, and welcoming to all in the neighborhood. I still can't believe he's gone. We'll miss him terribly. My condolences to Bruna, Jennifer, Grey, Caitlin, and all his family. Thanks for all you've done, Steve. It won't be the same around here without you!

It will be the little things that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter, and although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memories of these little things that help to push away the pain and bring the smiles back again
