Vera Van Iwaarden, 83 VISTA --Vera Van Iwaarden, 83, passed away January 22, 2009, a California native. She was born August 6,1925, and lived for many years in Vista. She was married for 65 wonderful years to her husband, William. She is survived by her husband and children; Gerald and Emma Van Iwaarden, David Van Iwaarden (deceased), Karen and Jim Partridge, Linda and Ron Lockman, Jim and Ellen Van Iwaarden; 12 grandchildren and four great-grand-children. She was an accomplished seamstress and loved to crochet and travel the world with her husband. She was a lover of life, family and friends and was always strong in her faith.
