We are so sad to learn of Vince's passing. Vince and Linda were wonderful neighbors living across the street from us for more than 15 years. He enjoyed many of the finer things in life including heading off to many major sporting events and relaxing with their family at the home in La Jolla.
We send our thoughts in these difficult times to Linda and the rest of the family as they cope with the loss of a fantastic husband, father and grandfather.
Rest in peace Vince.

Vince and my oldest brother met in high school and he became part of our family. He often talked with my mother. He was very close to our family in the late 50's and early 60's. In 1963 he helped me get the first stable job of my life with Bradshaw grocery. At the time I was 20 and the father of 2 young children. That was a huge thing to me and my family. I thanked him for that years later at a high school reunion and he looked shocked as if it was nothing! That's the way he was. He affected people's lives in big ways and he didn't know how big it was to that person. Great man! God love him. He's just sleeping. We'll be with him some day. My condolences to your family in this time of sorrow.

I will always have Vince and Lou Sans to thank for my career at Southern Wine & Spirits and where I met the Love of my life,
Jim. I loved working with Vince and my most memorable times were in that first building Southern had and my office was a converted closet, but those were the fun times, the times we worked together as family, not just
boss and employees. I loved when you came into see him at the office, Linda. Vince would light up like a Christmas Tree and then when the kids were born and they would come in and they ran around his office so great, so great! May he rest in peace. Jim will now have one of his best friends with him and I know together they will have LOTS to catch up on. God Bless you all at this time of grief, but know Vince is at peace and always will be looking out for you.

How saddened I was to learn this morning about Vince's death.I know that his entire family has suffered a great loss; my deepest sympathy to everyone. I will always remember that any time I would see him, he would ask how my family was doing. He made a difference in many lives, and I know he will be missed.
