We were very saddened to hear of the passing of Bill. We were his neighbors in the 1980's in South Mission Beach and we considered him a very nice person and kind friend. He will be missed. Thinking of your family at this time and sending our sympathies!

My husband was a police officer for twenty five years. He spoke of Bill Howell with great fondness and respect. He worked with him in patrol and C.I.U. Ray loves to remember "the good guys" and Bill was always spoken of in that vein.

This is Wendy Woodward and my father is Jim Woodward, good friends to your paternal grandfather.
Your dad was one of my dad's best friends. Bill was a lot younger than my dad, but he used to come get my dad and take him for rides around town in a corvette (I think?). My dad was in his 80s and they would go cruising for 'chicks'...lol.
My dad loved your dad like a son! He said Bill was like the son he never had. I am very sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful man. I remember visiting your grandfathers house when I was little.
My sister Debbie and I wish you peace. We are very sorry indeed for the loss of your wonderful father.
