Arthur T. Rezendes

Arthur T. Rezendes, 89, of San Luis Obispo, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2006, at a local care center. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at Wheeler-Smith Mortuary Chapel. Pastor Jim Boyd will officiate. Arthur was born Dec. 19, 1916, in San Luis Obispo. He was a WWII Navy veteran and served in the Pacific on a PT Boat. He was also a member of the Operating Engineers. He graduated from San Luis Senior High and was a heavy equipment mechanic with Madonna Construction for nearly 20 years. He is survived by his sister Helen Millsap, of Roseburg, Ore.; his nieces, Linda Salazar of Avenal; Nancy Millsap of Basalt, Colo.; Deborah Millsap of Umpqua, Ore. and nephew Steven Millsap of Riverton, Wyo. Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Diabetes Society.
