Brian Maloney Obituary
Brian Michael Maloney, 60, was born in April 1948 and raised in Benicia, Calif. He attended UC Davis, where he received his degree in Archaeology. After graduation, he worked on archaeological digs on the Yucatan Peninsula.
In 1973, Brian began a career with Pacific Gas & Electric Company in the Bay area as a field clerk. After 30 years of service he retired in 2003 from Diablo Canyon Power Plant as a scheduler. After retirement, Brian moved from his home in Oceano to his hometown in Benicia.
Brian loved to travel, and over the years had visited Australia, China, Ireland and other parts of Europe. Brian was also an avid San Francisco Giants fan, having taken many trips to see his team at other ballparks in the Midwest and on the East Coast.
Brian is survived by numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Wilbert "Bill" Maloney; mother, Ethel (nee Lewis) Maloney; and sister, Barbara Maloney.
