I loved Bruce before I ever met him, beginning when I first laid eyes upon him: through binoculars, looking across the Atascadero hills, as we spotted him standing on his roof holding a sign declaring his love for Pat. It only got better from there. You know how it is with girlfriends; you want the best for them and never feel like any man is quite worthy of your friend? Well, for Pat's friends, Bruce was a dream come true. What a wonderful, amazing man, so funny, kind, smart, generous, fun to be with, animated, so full of vitality. Bruce, we loved you and we will miss you. Gone too soon, but will always be fondly remembered.

From the minute we met Bruce we loved him. What a guy!! Never a time that he didn't make us laugh. A super person anyway you look at it. Pat we love you and think about you all the time, our hearts are sad.

We are so heartbroken. This world has lost a great man. So kind and gentle and always ready to laugh and make the world a better place. Our love goes out to Pat and family. The love story shared between them has been an inspiration to all who know them. Bruce was a remarkable man and will live forever in our hearts!!
