Jaime Molden Obituary

Jaime Molden

November 4, 1973 - October 18, 2024

Georgetown, Texas - Jaime J. Molden left this world on 18 October 2024. He came into this world on 4 November 1973 and began spreading joy and happiness to all he met. He will be forever remembered as someone you wanted to hang out with, have a drink with, take a hike with, be friends with. He has sadly left behind his wife, Lindsay and two spunky boys, Nikko and Ren and two baby faced Persian cats, Lyndon and Birdie. He has also left his parents, Jim and Holly Molden, and his aunt, Julie Tsuchiya to somehow live on without him.

Jaime grew up in Arroyo Grande, California where he played soccer, rode bikes, played in the Jazz Band, marching band and his band, Toxic Youth. He was a Star Wars fan, Raiders (Los Angeles) fan, Green Day fan. He had a real soft spot for German Shepard dogs adopting many through the years. He went on to UC Berkeley where he graduated with a Molecular Cell Biology degree and then worked in the Gladstone Institute labs in San Francisco where he participated in studies and wrote and contributed to papers. He loved living in SF indulging in the music, coffee, freedom.

At some point, he felt the need to help people in a more direct way and went to the Pritzker School of Medicine in Chicago. It was a hard and cold journey but he eventually got back to California and did residencies at UCLA and Cedar Sinai to finally become an EP cardiologist.

Jaime's first job was in St George, Utah where he honed his famous bedside manner and cardiology techniques. Though he couldn't surf in Utah, he was able to ski, his next favorite thing to do. But California called again and he landed in Santa Rosa where he fine tuned his EP skills and wine palette. He married the love of his life, Lindsay, at their Healdsburg home.

Jaime passed away in Georgetown, Tx where they had moved to be closer to her large family. He had joined a practice in Texas where he became a much loved colleague and doctor.

Jaime will be missed every day by those who knew him, in moments least expected and in moments where 'things' will bring him to mind. Remember him with joy and happiness because that is who he was.

Dr Molden was my first Cardiologist here in Santa Rosa. He was a special person- very quiet, sensitive, happy and obviously loving person! I am so sorry for his loss at age 50! Must have been so hard to leave his wife and small kids and so hard for you all... Thanks to him for all his caring service to so many people! Jean Eilerman

I was so sad to read that Dr. Molden had passed away. He was an amazing human, an amazing physician. I too was one of his patients. He was definitely the gold star standard in the field of heart health. The world seems a little dimmer today with his passing. Condolences to his family and friends. Dr. Molden you definitely left your mark on this earth.

Dr. Molden was my cardiologist. He was always so happy and lived life to the fullest and had the biggest smile. I could tell he lived his life with gusto as in, taking in every single thing, seeing the world as such a gift to live. It was like, he couldn't wait to go do everything. He was an amazing doctor and person. I know I am lucky to have had him as my doctor. I hope his family finds comfort.
