Cambria, California - Jerome "Jerry" N. Borowick, aged 83, of Cambria, CA, passed away on April 21, 2024. Born on May 14, 1940, in New York, Jerry was a proud native New Yorker and graduate of Stuyvesant High School, City College of New York (CCNY) and New York University (NYU). He started his career as an aerospace engineer before finding his true calling as a professor of civil engineering at Cal Poly Pomona. Jerry was also a supporter of youth causes and a longtime Boy Scout leader. He spent his retirement volunteering for community events and playing table tennis. Jerry is survived by his sister and children. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Stuyvesant High School Alumni Association (www.stuyalumni.org/donate).
