Louise Klaucke

Louise "Olive" Redstone Klaucke was born in May 1912 in Badger, Calif., and died Monday, March 11, 2013, in San Luis Obispo. Olive lived a long life to age 100. Her parents, Albert Ellis and Daisy Delphine Redstone. moved the family to See Canyon in 1916, where they have operated the Daisy Del Apple Farm to this day. Olive married Henry Klaucke in 1933 and moved into town, San Luis Obispo. They lived for many years on Marsh St., where Henry operated his welding business. Olive and Henry then relocated and built their home on the original Redstone property in See Canyon in 1960. She worked for many years at Riley's Department Store, until she retired. Olive is survived by her two children Richard Klaucke (Kaye) and Merylyn Scribner (Ray Wenk); three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Henry, in 1987; and brothers Jack and Ellis. At Olive's request, no service will be held.
