Mr. Michael John Schatz, 1955-2008

Michael is a very gentle and sensitive soul who I became acquainted with through Hospice of SLO while we were both mourning great losses in our lives -- in Mike's case of his beloved Judy.
He and I would often have long talks following our Hospice meetings. I'm not sure they did anything for him, but Mike's down-to-Earth wisdom certainly helped me.
People like Michael feel very deeply. He loved Judy with all his being and it's clear he continued to struggle with her passing until his own.
It is my sincere prayer and wish that they are now both with the angels for an eternity of peace and happiness together -- forever.
Requiescat in Pace my brother Michael!

Mike was a friend that I was looking forward to spending more time with. He was a kind heart and gentle spirit.
As we had met in a grief support group, my prayer is that his grieving is now over.
