What a wonderful and long life she had and a beautiful legacy she left for her family. Both Hoyt and I have such fond memories of our times growing up with the Borchards and spending time at the iconic Borchard home in Cayucos. They were wonderful growing up years and the house was always open and welcoming. Our sympathies to all the Borchards and extended family. We think of you all often. Hoyt & Betsy Fields

A wonderful lady, I really enjoyed meeting and then working for Mrs. Borchard . She was a true Matriarch .

Lucinda, I am saddened to learn of your mother's death. Over the last 25 years you have spoken of her strength, dedication and resilience. I know you and your extended family will continue to follow her example. I hope fond memories outweigh grief during this time of transition.
