Dear Bill,
You always made Helen & me laugh when you would knock on the door to the court secretaries saying "Broderick Crawford Highway Patrol!" I will always remember the good old days with you fondly in my memories.

To have known Bill you would had to go to San Luis High with him. We were in the same car club, shared cars, and graduated together. Looking at the posts from San Luis kids, you can see how much we loved Bill. Just recently talked to him on Facebook and shared a lot of old stories. I will miss you, dear friend. Wish you would have had more time. Bobby Nunes Love you, Bill.

Bill was one of a kind, a great guy

My sympathy to Bill's family, he was one
of our special classmates and friends.
We sure had fun at the reunion committee meetings in the 80's. We
all were greeted so graciously at his
home for one of the meetings. I remember we all joked about his tight
his jeans were, and how in the world did he even get into them. We had a ball working together. As your mascot
you are part of a very special class from SLO High - 1961, you are family
to all of us. We love you and will miss you, your friend always. Judy

Bill called me one day out of the blue not long ago, just to chat and catch up. He sounded so happy, full of life as always. I will never forget working in my garage one morning and hearing a roar of pipes outside the door.....when I opened it, there was Bill, sitting in his gorgeous '57 black Bel Aire, with a grin on his face.
God speed, Bill.

At 14 Bill talked me into secretly pulling my brothers 47 Indian Chief out of the garage to coast it down the very steep Essex St(Johnson) from Palm to Monterey, then push the 600# full-dresser up Toro and coast down Essex again until we were both beat. Motor was frozen but brakes worked.

Deepest sympathy for Mark, Gina and their family's as well as Bill's other wonderful family. The old Tassajara St neighbood lost a few great people this year. Thanks Bill for the memories... The cars, going to George's Matket with a note to buy you cigarettes and of course the garage with the wall of photos or I guess we can say Centerfolds that us kids caught a glimpse of every now and again. God Bless you.

Bill was a life long friend. We went to high school together, were in the same car club, shared hot rods, graduated together, and followed each other's careers. Bill worked for the Sheriff's Department, but there was an outlaw in him. I guess that's what I loved most. I miss you, Bill. Our birthdays are one day apart.

Bill,or "Willie" as he was known then, and I were best of friends at Roosevelt Elementary School in Pomona in the 1950's. We rode our bikes everywhere looking for mischief to initiate. We shared a love for hot rods, early rock and roll music and creating whatever relatively innocuous pranks we could. When Bill's father Geno was transferred to San Luis Obispo, when we were in the 6th greade, it was traumatic. The first summer he was there, the Anselmi's invited me to spend a week in SLO. I took the Greyhound from Pomona to SLO and we had a grand time roaming the city on our bikes and continuing our trouble making ways. May he rest in peace.
